We hereby petition all peoples of the United States and the world to recognize and acknowledge that it is in our best interest to be reconciled to our neighbors and to co-operate in spite of our disagreements and/or differences.

     In signing this you agree that we can and should find common ground with our fellow citizens under which to unify and organize in a fruitful endeavor of improving the basic conditions of life for all.

       This petition and all who sign it bears testament to the idea that the majority of us prefer peace over war, love over hatred, and unity over division.

       We further recognize that the vast majority of us are more alike than we are different, that we all ultimately want a good and fair outcome for ourselves and our neighbors, and that fear, anger, and pride can often confuse and  overshadow the light of our deeper hope for the highest good of all.

        Finally, we acknowledge that whether our representatives and administrators attempt to use their positions for selfless benevolence or malicious selfishness, it is ultimately the power of a strongly unified collective of citizens which succeeds in doing the work that uplifts a country.
